In this week’s episode I welcome my dear friend, illustrator, writer, tattoo artist and new dad, Adrian Gibson onto the show. I want to express gratitude to Adrian and his beautiful wife, Natalia for letting me have a couple of hours of time during a special time in their son’s first few months on this planet. Our discussion was wide ranging, and we talked about his life story leading to entrepreneurship, marriage, and parenthood, the difficulty in pursuing creative endeavors, how our relationship to limits controls our outcomes in life, and much more. We ended up talking about so much more that this interview will be split up across this week and next week’s episodes. So stay tuned next week to hear the termination of this interview where we touch on topics such as where we think creativity/ideas come from, some amazing insight from Adrian’s parents’ lives, one of Adrian’s very own Bad Brownies and so much more!

Before I start the episode I also want to take a moment to say something about a decision I am making for Bad Brownies regarding censorship of content. Up until this point I have used some self censorship to remove language I deemed to be foul and topics I have deemed to be too touchy for the early stages of this podcast. However, I have decided for at least these episodes with Adrian to include some foul language and some discussion of alcohol and drug use and I don’t want anyone listening to not be surprised by such language and topics.
